You will be using your keen interest in this industry and your theoretical problem solving skills to work in our extensive purpose-built workshops. Using our modern diagnostic scantools, rolling road, wheel alignment systems, MOT facilities, and dedicated classrooms, you will test and repair a range of vehicles and diagnose complex system faults. This Level 3 qualification covers the technical needs for today's motor vehicle repair industry, focusing on the diagnosis of complex faults in engines, chassis and electrical systems. It covers the full range of technologies relating to hybrids, common rail diesel and direct injection petrol systems, and provides essential knowledge for diagnostic technicians working on light vehicles in race teams, garages, dealerships and maintenance depots. Employment in the motor vehicle industry covers a wide range of activities from maintenance and servicing to motorsport engineering. On successful completion of this course you will be well-equipped to follow various routes into industry and onto some relevant university-level courses.
